How to find us, by road

Eleven kilometres of coast, then the sea.

From Antiparos town, follow the coastal road south for about 11 km until it meets the sea at Agios Georgios. The taverna sits directly on the waterfront, facing Despotiko. Parking is available nearby.

How to find us, by sea

Anchor in the sheltered bay of Agios Georgios and bring your tender to our private dock, steps from the terrace. See our Arrive by Sea page for details.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose my own fish?

Please do. The day's catch is presented whole for you to see and select, priced by the kilo. Visit by midday and you may choose your fish in the morning and have it kept for your dinner table that evening.

Is the beach next to the taverna?

Yes. The calm, sheltered bay of Agios Georgios is right beside us. Many simply call it “the Captain Pipinos beach.” Swim before lunch, return to the table after.

Can we come with our boat?

Absolutely, anchor in the bay and tie your tender at our private dock, steps from your table. See Arrive by Sea.

How do I visit Despotiko island?

Boats cross daily from our little harbour to Despotiko and the ancient sanctuary of Apollo.

What our guests say

“…the best seafood in the Cyclades… this stony stretch is colloquially referred to as the Captain Pipinos beach.”
