Fish Taverna · Agios Georgios · Antiparos

From our sea. From our family. To your table.

A traditional fish taverna at the water's edge of Agios Georgios, Antiparos, where the catch of the day meets three generations of Cycladic hospitality.

Welcome

Where the road ends and the Aegean begins.

There is a place at the quiet, southern edge of Antiparos where the road ends and the Aegean begins. Here, in the small bay of Agios Georgios, with the island of Despotiko resting on the horizon, the Pipinos family has kept the same promise for decades: fresh fish, honest cooking, and a welcome that makes every guest feel like they have come home.

White and sky-blue, sun and salt, octopus drying gently on the railing above the water. Captain Pipinos is not a restaurant that imitates the Cyclades. It is the Cyclades.

Quality from the sea

Every dish begins at sea.

Our fish is caught the same day and everything is prepared the moment you order it: crisp salads, generous mezedes, seafood grilled over open flame. Carefully selected ingredients, cooked with knowledge, respect and love.

This is the quality our name stands for.

The experience

Stay for the golden hour.

As the sun sinks behind Despotiko, the bay turns to amber and the taverna fills with the easy joy of a Greek summer evening. Some say it is the most beautiful sunset table on the island.

We simply say: come and see.
